Benjamin Carr is a Southern Vermont resident bred in the Philadelphia and New Orleans music scenes. Carr's multi-instrumental abilities allow him to create diverse compositions of funky ‘ukulele jazz, full drum orchestrations and progressive rock. Ben's music has been described as "a genre-evading journey through sound"and "a unique brand of rootsy, funky, eclectic melodies."

Carr plays with numerous regional acts including the reggae jazz hip-hop laced Mo Ambesa and the blues infused Sunny Lowdown. He also fronts his own group, the Ben Carr Music Project, an eight piece ensemble featuring two drummers, percussion, horns, guitars, and bass.

Ben has shared the stage with Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown, Trumystic, Carlos Averhoff, Eugene Uman, Patty Carpenter, Lou Erlanger, Ayizan Sannon, and has supported Page McConnell and Mike Gordon.
