The Drizzle is an Alternative Rock Band from Athens, Greece, formed in 2007. The band consists of Sotiris Agelidis,Kostas Oikonomou, Antonis Kavidas,Vaggelis Gatzias and Spiros Stefanis. In a public school of Athens, five classmates decided to create an indie rock band to wreak their passion for music and express their point of view of life through their songs. The Drizzle began their live appearances in clubs like ‘An Club’, ‘Underworld’, ‘Texas’, and ‘On Stage’, and municipal exhibitions like ‘Ionikes Meres exhibition’ where they made the opening act for the Greek band ‘Kitrina Podilata’. Their sound is a result of their different music influences. The combination of the alternative guitars, the pianist with the classical background, the bass with jazz influences, the heavy metal drummer, and the emotional lyrics blend and achieve a unique harmonic sound. Their music was a core aspect that made Play Recordings to believe in them and take over their record and management deal. At 01/01/2011, with their songs more mature than ever before The Drizzle released their debut EP, 'The city is bleeding' including the songs, 'Cold', 'Fake love', Years of falling', 'The city is bleeding', and 'Breathe'. The EP was recorded, mixed and produced in Play Recording Studio.'
