Music is in a verey intrsting place never has it been more easy to find lost bands theat never got the credit they so deserved one band that has been overlooked untill now is the flower travling band. It all started in the the 60s when a japanese man Yuya Uchida came to england and got a close up glimpse of what was going on in western rock music when she went back to japan she desided to get a cover band together called the flowers with a few frends singer Rimi Aso gitarist Hideki Ishima bassist Jun Kowzuki and drummer Joji Wada they relised there first album Challenge witct only got noticed becuse they were all in the nude on the front cover. Uchida and Aso soon left the band and with a new singer Joe Yamanaka and a name change they released there second album with five covers and for the first time some of there own origanal stuff the album Anywhere was put out agane they where nude on the cover but this time on motorbikes.There first album to have there own full material Satori is where it gets intresting with a sound that many a stoner rock band whoud call pionering mixing the power of black sabbath with crazy king crimson prog and a whole bunch of traditional japanese and heavy psyic they woud go on to do two more records a double live album Made in japan and a nother studio album Make up befor going on a Brake for over thirty years. In 2007 the band got back together with a added keybordest Nobuhiko Shinohara and put out a new album We are hear in 2010 the band stoped activeites as news that there lead singer Joe Yamanaka got throt cancer he died August 7 aged 64.
