THE FYLLS are a New York City rock band who write songs infused with socially conscious messages couched in infectious, tight, upbeat grooves and harmonies. Their first acoustic record, recorded live in the living rooms of friends and fans in and around New York City. The album was recorded "open room" style with the band crowded around one or two microphones in order to capture the immediacy and sonic qualities of the different environments,.. and also because they don't have a lot of money. 

In 2011, via Kickstarter.com, the band successfully raised enough money to make their first studio album which they are planning to record in the fall or winter of 2012.
