 Biography
Steve Harris was the singer of the popular Dallas, TX based band Cold Ethyl in the 1990's but like so many others in the early 1990's, saw his rock n roll career cut short by the emerging Seattle Grunge wave. Although it was discouraging, Steve never completely left the music business. He became a club owner, a writer and part time performer for many years until everything changed in August of 2008. Steve was one of the many singers considered to replace the departed Scott Weiland in the super group Velvet Revolver. However, he and Kerry Plummer had been writing and putting together Hillbilly Vegas for 8 months by then and suddenly Steve was no longer in the mood for Modern Rock. He returned to his roots and decided to focus solely on Hillbilly Vegas and it was a good choice (as of this writing Velvet Revolver has been released from their contract with RCA and are still auditioning potential singers).

Kerry Plummer fronted the nationally popular Loaded Gunn early in his career. Leaving the road for good in the mid 1990's Kerry quickly recognized the profit potential of the emerging online music business and started his own indie label and distribution company in the late 90's. In a very short period of time CdSmash Records was a thriving online indie. Kerry signed, produced and released dozens of very successful acts and releases worldwide in just a few shorts years. In 2005 Kerry sold his interest in CdSmash to a larger distributor and turned a small idea in to a big success. As a guitarist, vocalist, performer and writer Kerry has achieved success at the very highest levels of the industry. Kerry has written songs for nationally known artists, and his songs have been featured on CMT.

John Reed started playing guitar in Elementary school. By the time John was 13 he was a seasoned performer. John has performed, written and recorded with many of the industry's finest players in just about every genre. John plays guitar, mandolin and piano. He loves his Red Dirt roots and is the band's resident expert in all things Roots and music history in general.

Rob Edwards is a Los Angeles native who has been writing, performing and recording with Steve Harris as well as numerous other groups all over the United States for more than 15 years. Rob has been a part of several national touring acts and a session player at numerous studios including the famed Paisley Park in Minneapolis. Rob is one of the finest musicians in the industry. Rob plays bass, guitar and banjo.

Angie Brown and Steve Harris are life long friends. Their families have been friends for more than five decades. Angie is an amazing talent who has until now worked strictly in the Gospel music genre. Kerry and Steve originally asked Angie to guest appear on one Hillbilly Vegas song (Wrong) and from there it grew. They realized what a unique combination Steve and Angie were together and Angie joined the band full time in December of 2008.

Robert Bradley is from Texas and has been Rob's go to drummer and friend since the early 1990's. Robert has been involved with many successful projects as a member, session player and drummer for hire for many years.

Joel Billy is an amazing harmonica player who's performed from street corners in Nashville to the French Quarter of New Orleans. He's a veteran who's shared stages with B.B. King, Lorrie Morgan, Merle Kilgore, famed Nashville writers Brian White and Pam Belford, Tesla, Craig Chaquico of Starship and the list goes on and on. Joel is also a long time member of NSAI, a Nashville songwriters association.

This band is a rare combination of Red Dirt, Roots, Country, Southern Rock, Gospel and of course good ole fashioned Rock and Roll. The band's debut cd is almost finished and scheduled for a Summer release. Catch Hillbilly Vegas live all Summer long....join the PARTY BABY!
