Las Cheerleaders Asesinas began their activity in 2005 in the neighbourhoods of Usera and Carabanchel (Madrid, SPAIN). They claim the Rock and Hard Rock from the '70s and '80s, singing in a tacky spanish. They got their name from their first song, which set their own style: spanish lyrics inspired by science fiction, comics, and B movies, far from the spanish rock stereotypes. AC/DC guitars style, and a Graham Bonnet voice style, with a simple but effective rythmic base.
They edited on 2012 an untitled demo with 5 tracks which received many good reviews, but most important, it let them rock on loads of stages: their natural environment. Las Cheerleaders Asesinas' performance is pure adrenaline, explosive and exhausting. If you don't collapse, you're already dead.
They have crossed their paths with mythic bands such as Asfalto, Habeas Corpus, Motociclön... But overall they can show off of sharing the same stage with other partly-unknown underground bands (but with the greatest level) like Black Horde, La Reacción or Circulo Polar.
They took part in the "Rock Party" compilation (from Foreros del Azkena Rock Festival), which was edited and distributed by Last Tour International on the festival's 10th anniversary, with the song "Por Encima de las Converse" that has covered lots of radio stations.
The new album, with 9 more mature and powerful songs and a very meticulous production, is available from Agust on CD. The band will offer a free online download on Bandcamp and other platforms, giving the possibility of paying an amount at your free choice.
