 Biography
M Machine, a group formerly known as Metropolis, is the combined efforts of Andy Coenen, Ben Swardlick and Eric Luttrell out of San Francisco, CA.They broke on to the EDM scene in 2011 with viral success of their 2 track EP released on Skrillex's label, OWSLA featuring "Glow" and "Promise Me A Rose Garden". It jumped to the top of the EDM charts and was named "Hottest Record in the World" by Zane Lowe on the BBC in October 2011. In April 2012, they released the highly anticipated full length, Metropolis Pt. 1, a 2 part concept album about a futuristic city called Metropolis, inspired by the dark feeling and imagery created in the film of the same name by Fritz Lang. You can find a text version of the story in the digital liner notes on the album or on the band's website here:  http://www.the-m-machine.com/linernotes/

M Machine has been playing festival gigs through the summer at EDC, Electric Zoo, and Global Dance Festival and opening slots for Miike Snow, Pretty Lights and Porter Robinson. They have recently released a remix of Passion Pit's single "Talk A Walk" after hooking up with the band at the Meltdown festival in Dallas, TX in June 2012 (read more here: http://www.musicemissions.com/blog/index.php/2012/06/22/artist-update-the-m-machine/). This is helping spread their name past their base EDM crowd and to more mainstream audiences. Metropolis Pt. 2 is expected to release later this year in 2012.
