 Biography
Much like when you need a breathing space, The Intermission is a break from continuity.

Formed in 2009, this young power trio got together to play that kind of sound that takes you back to the basics, creating this intense “noise” that may sound raw but doesn’t lack sophistication.

After releasing in 2010 a self-produced five-song digital demo, they started working on what will soon be their first studio album: “How To Lose Yourself”
Also self-produced, with this first record the band wants to let people know who they really are on their own words.

For the mixing of the album, they contacted Ryan O. John (Envy On The Coast, Viacoma) over in New York City who was so kind to show the band’s work to Ryan Hunter, North Korea's lead singer (and former Envy On The Coast) who gave nothing but the best feedback and advice.

When he listened to one of their tracks, he said: “your most powerful moments (…) are the most simplistic”, and that is exactly what the band looks forward to transmit: Heavy emotion on a very simple and real way.

Currently the band is at the final stage of the recording process for the LP and preparing a tour as part of promotion for the album. Also, The Intermission has been selected to perform at the Canadian Music Fest in Toronto this next March.
