The Honeydogs have had quite a ride and it seems like it's not even close to being over. After release a single album on a Mercury Polygram imprint in 1997 they were subsequently drop from their support (or the imprint was dropped). Even with the impending buyout of the label, they were given the go ahead to get back in the studio for a followup in 1998. After losing their second guitarist they were coming up on the hardest part of their career - Bassist Trent Norton stopped breathing and was on life support for 3 days. After a miraculous recovery the band was back on again and Here's Luck is the result. Here's Luck is a pop fans nirvana, it shows the band as a tight unit with hooks in every song. Principal songwriter, Adam Levy goes to the gods of pop (the Beatles) for some songwriting lessons. What results is one of the catchiest and most honest releases of their career. The band reaches many highs on this album.
