Not often do I have the respect and patience for electronic music. There's just not a lot of chance for mistake, and that's half the fun of making music, avoiding mistakes or melody mishaps.

A male/female duo based out of Yelm, WA these two are peanut butter and jelly working together. Both bringing a soft punch to electronica and placing it nicely in rhythms that can sooth the most rigid of souls. Dance Music For Your Mind is nice mincing of upbeat and slow roll. Roller-coasters of instrumentalist envisioning if I may be so bold. "Blossoming Flowers" is perfect example track of their diversity. From ambient waves of synthesizers to frantically organized drum and bass backbone. The following track, "In Joy" seemingly has varying speeds of tranquility and dance melody.

"Fountain Of Youth" has a more traditional instrumental basis, including acoustic guitar and a relaxed atmospheric sound. "Spiral Galaxy" nearly starts out like an Outkast beat, and treads from there. "Endlessness" has a similar feel, but imposes the use of odd instrumentation (xylophone?) to round out the sound.

This is a perfect recording for gatherings and studying. Tracks like "Dream without a dream" remind me of the Chillout series. Even a recording for exposing electronica haters to a world they may in fact enjoy with an open mind.
