Review of NEW AGAIN single:
Their ability to combine passionate feeling with bristling instrumental delivery has seen this Adam Lazarra fronted, rhythm stamping troupe, Taking Back Sunday survive the Emo craze. With the boisterous single New Again, they show off a garage kick that keeps them fresh and feeling packed. Feeling felt dual vocals provoke, entice and expose the vulnerability of the feral mind.
Fuzzy percussion jabs provide for chilling interludes to a soaring pop/rock pushed revealing of a determination to forget the past, as you sense that the band are determined to take control of their own destiny. Taking Back Sunday continues to offer universal appeal and what they lack for in cutting edge, they make up for in feeling and punchy impact.

Okay, before i start lemme just say that i will be the first to admit tell all your friends was an amazing album. i don't know if anything will ever REALLY top it but for a band that lost one of its members, which would be Fred for any 1 who doesn't know, i think the effort was definitely there.
Taking back Sunday has amazing potential and i still don't think it is absolutely there and the loss of Fred has definitely set them back but this album is great.
The album starts off with the track that titles the album "New Again." New Again starts with some guitar action then gets into a bass grove which is awesome which gets into a very catchy verse and eventually a just as catchy chorus. Adam definitely shows a lot of his talent in this song.
Next "Sink Into Me" (the second song on the album and the first single off the album) is also a worth mentioning. i can barely get this tune out of my head. Some days i wake up humming the tune. You can tell the band really pushed it in this song but its a good example of pushing it and in no way bad.
"Lonely, Lonely" is a great example of a unique rock song with a very catchy melody as well as "Summer, Man"
"Swing" is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album both musically and lyrically. The beginning of the song just blows me away every time i hear it. Good work Adam!!
The next song "Where My Mouth Is" is a soft song. it displays a different side to the band. the song is definitely catchy and you can tell it has a lot of meaning to it.
Next is "Cut Me Up Jenny" 1 word for this song. AWESOME!!!! sounds like the old TBS mixed with the best part of the new TBS. Any 1 who disagrees with me, listen again because your are certainly wrong. Adam pushes his range and does it successfully. Once again, AWESOME JOB BOYS!!!
"Catholic Knees" is probably my least favorite song on the album. I don't know what it is, maybe it has to grow on me or its just not a song i can get into, but still not a bad song. It is certainly more hard core than most of Taking Back Sunday songs but still not bad.
"Capital M-E" and "Carpathia" are also good songs. nothing bad to say about those two. They both are VERY CATCHY.
AND FINALLY!!!! i would probably say the best song on the album
is "Everything Must Go." This song Demonstrates a soft side to the band as well as the hardcore side to them. the verse is easy and the chorus is hardcore as well as the bridge. i haven't heard a song like this in a while. This should definitely be the next single off the new album.
Overall, good job guys! keep going in the direction your going in. It is definitely working for you guys. GO PICK UP THE ALBUM JUNE 2ND!!! it is 100% worth while.
