RecommendBebel musical heritage is so great. She is the daughter of the creator of Bossa Nova, Joao Gilberto, and here mother is Miucha, one of only three vocalists to share an entire album with Antonio Carlos Jobim. This album is exactly what you would think; very seductive Bossa Nova rhythms. It is one word, beautiful. There is really no holding a candle to Bebel's effort here. It has everything her father was able to inject into the Brazillian music and more. You may also know Bebel from a few of her apearances with artists like Towa Tei (De La Soul), Thievery Corporation, David Byrne, Arto Lindsay, and Arling and Cameron. Throw this one on for a night of romancing.
