This is a beautiful little CD brought to you by Aaron Pillar and Christopher Crisci of the Appleseed Cast. It is a six song EP and it is one of those EP’s that leave you craving much more. Hundred Hands stays nice almost on the same flight path as Appleseed Cast with mellow intertwining melodies. The neat thing with Hundred Hands is that you may be aware what Appleseed was like but when it gets stripped right down there is even more thoughts and emotions invoked. That’s exactly what happens with Little Eyes. This is also why you end up craving even more after the brief six songs are done. Even with its subtleties, Hundred Hands initiates dynamics very nicely and one can only hope that this is not just a one-off project. Aaron Pillar proves his vocal worth.
