It seems as though Joan of Arc is enjoying life right now as Live.. almost calms your soul. They are more known for their post-rock abilities but this album shows a completely different side. Fun experiments with dreamy vocals lead to an enticing listen such as the title track with thundering drums with Tim Kinsilla fading it out to fit in his raspy vocals say that he is so tired of shouting. Dispite the albums name it is far from live: most of it was written in the studio. Live... has a perfect mix between artificial noises and samples blended with instrumentation. They prove themselves again with a completely diverse album to what one would expect.
