Josette's Eye is a vehicle for Beejay Thompson to release her lyrical furor. Actually not much furor is involved in the music of Josette's Eye. Beejay and fellow musician Paul Maurer have been persuing the band for a few years now complete with a shift in members they now state that they match the power of Beejay's lyrics. Her music is very poetic and some tracks are even just her spouting her poems while the band jams in behind her. The production is not as bright as it could be but aside from that it is a very enjoyable listen. Beejay seems to have taken some lessons from Ani Difranco as she share the same sort of style (read: good thing). Watch out for future releases.
