Six. By Seven. Remember them? Yes, they're still going. This, their second last album, being limited to 1000 copies is quite hard to come by... but man is it worth the search. After the underground success of the I.O.U.Love single back at the beginning of the decade you expect that they'd never be forgotten, but with a little help from themselves they've slipped back into the pretty-boring-really-Nottingham scene. You'd have thought they'd split up or become some Joy Division tribute band, but really this album proves they should not've lost their place at the forefront of the Midlands lad-rock scene. Songs such as Push, and War Nations mix the surreal reverbs of Spacemen 3 with the pounding anthems of Oasis. Speaking of the latter, who cares if they split up? SIX BY SEVEN STILL EXIST!
