Finally, Here it is. New Magneta Lane record "Gambling With God" hits stores 15th of September. After they released "The Constant Lover" and "Dancing With Daggers", everybody seemed to forget about them (including the critics) until now. Well done, Magneta Lane!

Gambling With God contains songs that may be not far from their sound in their previous albums but this one got a little bit mellow I could say. Got more of the acoustic guitar playing than in the last records which is more heavy on bass, but the composition pretty much stays the same.

In "Lady Bones" (which I think is the highlight of the record), Lexi sings about breaking up and feeling how those Lady Bones hurt. It's kind of like a ballad when you read the lyrics but the composition covers it all up. "September Came" starts off with the acoustic guitar (surprisingly) and the voice of Lexi is just wonderful that I think she's the only girl in the world which possesses a voice so powerful.

Overall, the record is kind of like a good Sunday morning drive in the open streets that makes you feel good. So if you like Indie rock bands that is led by girls, You should listen to this.
