Knievel is a talented 3 piece from Australia that has finally made a splash on our shores. They specialize in a delicate style of rock. Gentle and chimey guitars back up soft and introspective vocals. The songs are brilliantly written and the presentation is some of the catchiest moody pop I have heard in ages. Songs threaten to break into bigger and louder things but rarely do. This is a pleasant surprise as everybody seems to outdo themselves with volume. Knievel isn’t afraid to let their great songwriting speak for itself without the volumce. Just listen to their seemingly epic “Faces on the journey and you will be convinced of the Austrailian threesomes talent. Knievel should win some praise for The Name Rings A Bell.
