RecommendKoufax features ex-members of The Leftovers and Empire State Games and their new chemistry seems to point them in the right direction. These guys serve up a tasty mix of cool emo pop similar in ways to The Get Up Kids. They make liberal use of keyboards and effects in order to stand out and make themselves different. The boys know how to craft a catchy melody. I caught myself humming along to "Going to happen" as I was walking. You can almost hear their hearts breaking on "So Long To You And I". This EP should clear the way and give people a taste of what to expect on their full-length expected out shortly.
