Lender is a 4 piece alternative rock band to come out of the UK and this Mind Games single is their first forray in the studio. They have been playing in the UK for a while now and have toured across the island. The single is a hard driving track that reminds me of Irelands Therapy?. The musicianship showcased here is above par and proves that Lender has potential. The band seems to take on an early Pearl Jam extended jam on both their single and another track included “Floods and Whirlwinds� which is a complete instrumental. With this in mind, their songs could be edited a bit in order to keep them under the 4 minute mark. The other track here is called “Drunken� and it is quite impressive too. The vocals are a bit breathy but the singer does have a good voice. It will be interesting to see Lender’s next move.
