It good to see Mae getting away from their Singularity album because it was horrible. They broke free from their label and it shows. The vocals are the most noticeably different element on this EP. This is the first EP Mae is releasing in conjunction with the (A)fternoon and (E)vening EP, so it's going to be fun to see how this ends up. My only complaint would be that Mae's sound is still a bit basic. There is nothing on (M)orning that will really wow anyone, but, in saying that, there are a few pleasant surprises along the way.
