RecommendIt seems that everyone has been slamming the Llama Farmers. I can't quite figure this out. They are one of my favorite bands to come out of England in the last little while. The manage to mix up the grungy sound of American culture and the polished sound of Brit pop to come up with a very fresh sound. They are still in all essence a pop rock band but they are very creative and a maturing very nicely. One listen to "Snow White" will have your head bobbing along to the beat. The mix the soft loud thing without effort. The distorted guitars and Bernie Simpson smooth vocals gets me every time. The Llama Farmers are still using the Hum style melodies but they are completely welcome here. Still on my list to see live. Come to Canada!
