What's most rare in the music world nowadays?  A unique vocals is probably the best commodity a band can have nowadays. And regardless of how many Pop/Rock bands sounds like you, if your lead vocals has just a little variation of most, you have =a strong chance of making a name for yourself.  Usually, when I receive an album of unknown origin, I enjoy the melodies but not the vocals.  With Crash Karma's self-titled EP release, I'm left with a terrible pain for both aspects.

Either way, the guitar work, is far too generic for the 21st century to latch on.  Though their lead vocalist has a special and unique (out of tone) raspyness, it wont ever be enjoyed if its buried under cookie cutter chords like "Next Life".  The following track "Lost" has a bit more spotlight for the vocalist, but again, it just doesn't seem to fit.  Maybe the vocals are just not right for the sound of this band.  The two contrast like nuclear war and the EPA,  though a chorus brings on a Blue October comparison, I don't believe these guys are yet worthy of sharing the stage with them.

More applicable for the vocalist's tone is aggressive tracks like "Fight". While I won't say I enjoy this track, this is seemingly the best adaptation for both instrumentation and vocals. Overall, Crash Karma shows a talent for writing songs, but it's the end result that has these guys coming off as a blank stare to the world.

I couldn't get into this one at all. It's too bad seeing Crash Karma is a bit of a Canadian Supergroup.
