RecommendCheb Mami was one of the first people to bring the style of Rai music to North America in the 1980's. Spreading this Algerian form of music only gives one a great appreciation of the vocal range it takes for one to perform this type of music. Cheb manages to push his voice for 3 octaves and doesn't quiver at all. For people interested in getting into Middle Eastern music the Rai style is quite diffinitive and Cheb Mami is at the forefront of this genre. A truly enjoyable experience.
