Recommend1 Giant Leap is all about a world music fusion. The main coordinators are Jamie Catto (formerly of Faithless) and Duncan Bridgeman and they travelled the world with their laptop computers and digital video camera creating some of the most diverse music to ever be recorded. The music is brilliantly thought out and given a loving production. Get this for guest artists: Michael Stipe, Neneh Cherry, Speech, Baaba Maal, Grant Lee Phillips, Horace Andy, Robbie Williams, Michael Franti, and the list doesn’t even stop there. The Speech and Neneh Cherry track entitled “Braided Hair� is one that I can pinpoint as being a highlight. The album is really fantastic and there is no reason why you couldn’t still be listening to it 25 years down the road. 1 Giant Leap is totally timeless with the variety of artists involved. Open your mind and let this music flow in. Hip hop, rock, and world music fans will completely enjoy the spiritual journey that 1 Giant Leap takes.
