RecommendMarc Ribot underwent the task of this remarkable tribute to Cuban composer and bandleader Arsenio Rodriguez, who many consider to be the father of modern Cuban music. He captures the mood and vibe Arsenio was trying to get across but still manages to be innovative and original. His band features John Medeski, Robert J. Rodriguez and Brad Jones. For fans of the cuban sound of Buena Vista Social Club and Afro-Cuban Allstars.
