Coming from London, UK Richard Blair spent 3 years in Bogota, Columbia soaking up the music and the culture. He felt the need to create a easily accessible style of music fusing the classic Latin grooves and some of the club type world rhythms that were making it through the London clubs. He chose to go by the name Sidestepper and having already done work in the Bhangra style music and his work with Peter Gabriel's Real World label, this wouldn't be much of a stretch for him. After culminating some of the best singers in Columbia, Richard had enough to lay down what would become Sidestepper's More Grip. The horns and beats just lend to the authenticity of the Latin feel you will find on More Grip. Salsa to this!
