Momentum is the fifth album by Asteria. In the past Asteria has had incredibly catchy vocals and strong guitars with just as catchy melodies and i am happy to say the same about this album. this one is unique just like ever other album by them. It is clear the direction they were going on this album. This album gives off a catchy strong melodic vibe that will have you tapping your foot to the beat for days to come as well as singing the melody for hours at a time.

First off on the album is the Intro. This soft song is sweet and calming. it makes you feel secure and content as the seconds go by in the song. its definitely a suitable intro to the album. Even by the halfway point of the album where the song picks up you still get a nice vibe as the song plays on.

Pawns In Chess- This song is probably the most typical Asteria song on the album but by no means is that bad. It holds a moderately catchy melody. nothing special by Terrance on this track.

Hold On (God Damn)- This song is probably top 3 favorites on the album. It has a weird feel to it but it is definitely catchy in every way, not to mention the lyrics are spot on in this track. Terrance shows that even after many EPs and albums he can still conjure up a catchy melody that will keep you singing for hours.

Take Me Away- This one demonstrates how pop this group really can be if they want. This feel good song may not be the best song on the album but it will definitely keep you content. this song would get a spot in the top 5 best songs on the album. If you ever need a get up song to get you through a hard day, this is your song.

Heartbreaker- Track 5 on the album but definitely top 3 best songs on the album. This song gives a feeling of mystery which is hard to describe in a song. The lyrics show a form tragedy but dont let that stop you to listening to it cause it demonstrates another good feeling while listening.

Chutes & Ladders- This song is probably the most catchy on the album and if i had to pick a single this would be it. Its hard to describe the feeling i get from this one other then a sense of Amazing. I absolutely love this song. maybe even the best song on the album. It makes you feel so great while listening to its strikingly catchy melodies.

Just Another Letdown- this song also deserves a shot in the top 5 on the album. Terrance demonstrates great lyrics as well as an amazing melody. Another feel good song on the album even tho the lyrics have a sort of emotional feeling to them.

Shake It Off- Not much to write about this song. its good but its typical Asteria which is comprised of good melodies/high pitched guitars through out the song.

Candles- This song is so peaceful. it makes me feel like laying outside under the trees and enjoying the sunlight. I feel at peace when i listen to this one. This song is very good at making you calm and content. Even if i tried skipping halfway through this song my hand wouldnt let me.

A Beautiful Night for a Showdown- this song is very intense compared to the rest of the album but dont let that stop you from listening to it.

On My Knees- im sorry but i dont care about this song too much. As a matter of fact i had a very hard time listening to this song fully through the first time i listened to the album. It's kinda boring.

Devil Hold My Hand- This song is very interesting. Its not very long and not much gets accomplished but its still a cool song and you should definitely give it a listen.

Northbound & Down this song is a typical Acoustic song with an average feel to it. Not much to it but is still worth giving a listen to it so you can judge for yourself


Finally, Asteria's Momentum is a great addition to the Asteria albums that have been produced in the past. this is a cool album and is definitely a new side to pop that everybody should experience cause frankly, Lady Gaga is Getting kinda old now
