Nicely paced music is easily enjoyed and the Virginian native Adam Rader is onto something. Though I'm not sure he's hitting it yet, there's a respectful energy is his music regardless of it's sound.
"Anyway I Can" starts with a groovy, bendable sound, something clean and very radio friendly. It's one of those songs that reminds of you so many that you can't seem to title word for word. Either way, Rader has a good understanding of what realizes great rhythm, question is whether or not that rhythm is right for him. The answer is absolutely ... Do I believe he may be able to garner more attention with an edgier sound, even more absolutely.
The other song on this teaser release -album due on 2.11- is a cover of the Elvis' classic "In The Ghetto", which features Rader's voice at its talents and possibly at his pitch extremes. Very much a new artist for any John Mayer and Matt Nathanson fans. Rader's voice echoes and fades nicely, making this track progress nicely.
He may be a little cheesy, but Rader has a respectable, easy-to-like sound. Will I listen to this on a day-to-day basis? No, I think Rader has a bit more bite in him before this will become a playlist addition. Either way, he earned a listen for a few years to come.
