I don't normally go in for buying singles which were written solely to support an advertising campaign for some or other product. Yet that is precisely what this is. Even the cover screams it, with the logo of the offending product clearly display at the bottom right hand corner. Now Nick Kamen may have built a short-lived musical career on an appearance in a jeans commercial, but then so did Ronnie Bond.
This track is actually pretty catchy electro-pop when all is said and done, slightly heavier and fuller in sound than many of its contemporaries. It was that which drew me to it in the first place. I remember nothing else about the ad, and I don't think a clown featured in it at all, but this track was worth it just for that melody.
