Just before the Boomtown Rats went off the boil for good, they produced this fine example of punk inspired powerpop, in spite of the inability of Saint Bob Geldof to raise the same sort of enthusiasm as he had previously managed in fronting the band. Thumping drums, a solid underpinning by some good keyboard work and cascading guitars were all that you needed. Throw in a bit of teen inspired paranoia and they had it made. Sadly, this record did not achieve the success which the more well-known, but in my view inferior "I Don't Like Mondays" managed. As a result this track is often overlooked.
