RecommendIf you have shyed away from hip-hop since the days of gangster rap then it's time to look back again. A revolution is beginning and Anti-Pop Consortium are helping to lead the way. Hip hop is being pushed into the experimental regions again as opposed to ganster rap which was all about popping a cap in your homey. With the violence taken out and poetry put back in, the Anti pop boys are pushing the boundaries again. Experimental samples and cool scratching with what could be called beat poetry leads to one of the hottest rap album in years. Set aside all preconceptions and relish in the joy of the forward thinking rap of today. A fresh disc in a sea of wannabe's.
