Blackalicious drop some of the best rhymes and beats that I may have ever heard. The smoothness of the rhymes is just outstanding and the music itself never gets tiring due to it's total diversity. Each track is very different allowing all sorts of different styles. If your into gansta rap back away from this album slowly because this will just blow your mind. Not just the two of them (DJ/producer Chief Xcel and primary MC Gift Of Gab) are involved, they get help from the Quannum posse as well as tracks laid down from none other than DJ Shadow. The slabs of R&B that are laid down are sweet too. The diversity is what makes this such a treat. This will stand up and stand out as one of the hottest hip-hop albums of 2000.
