So 3 years after The Black Parade which really put this band on the map, they have returned donning outfits that would make the fantastic four blush and have come out with much happier songs. Unless you live under a rock or on the moon it seems likely that you'll have heard the intro to this album on the radio [Na Na Na Na] title of course being spoofed from the old Batman series.
This is a great album, they've gone away from their hard I hate the world songs such as "I'm Not Okay" and gone to a happier place. The song "Vampire Money" at the end of the album demonstrates this perfectly, It just shows that they're just four guys having a good time with life and...hang on a minute, there used to be five. Bob Bryar left shortly after they started writing the new album but it didn't get them down.
In the past people have branded this band, the Daily Mail even called them a suicide cult but they've put it behind them and produced a fantastic album that will have you tapping your feet and dancing the night away. Bravo My Chemical Romance, good to have you back.
