Common - Like Water For Chocolate
One of raps best kept secrets, Common has unleashed his best work here on his fourth album. One of the smoothest rappers ever (almost on the Mos Def level) he glides through the albums 16 tracks with ease and leaves the listener craving more. The previous Chicago Bulls ball player is getting funky on some of the track and stylish and R&B smoothish on others. If this doesn't break him into the big leagues then everyone is sleeping (nothing new in the bullshit music industry). Guests include Femi Kuti on "Time Traveling," Mos Def on "The Question" and D'Angelo on "Ghetto Heaven."
