RecommendThe Arcadia EP is the fourth and final in a series of releases showcasing handpicked tracks from Ace Reporter’s threesixfive project - a dauntingly industrious project that found Ace writing and recording an original song for the entirety of 2010. The Arcadia EP is six song collection featuring remasters, remixes and re-imaginings.
The self-titled track begins with an almost Edge (U2) riff and is quickly accompanied by a drop beat and progressive instrumentation. The bridges are quite drawing, while the vocals are subtle tint to the overall song. "Lean Honey Lean (Swingset Committee Remix)" has a Muse rock/dance vibe, and is quite memorable.
An enjoyable atmospheric blend of rock and dance, this album has opened up my curiousity for the other available releases. To be continued...
