Honestly, this might be one of my favorite albums. Maps & Atlases really do an amazing job taking a already unique style of music and making it their own. Dave Davidson's vocals are very interesting and folky, creating a fun and playful effect that i find very enjoyable. Similarly, his lyrics are creative and different.
What i really love about this album are the playful guitar riffs and how they sync with complex rhythms. This album is VERY different than their previous album, which was more Math Rock. Though i do very much enjoy who they were, the new style is pretty awesome as well. With this album, Maps & Atlases have gained a very loyal fan.
