No. 2 - No Memory
After seeing his ex-bandmates (Heatmiser) make it in the indie world, guitarist Neil Gust decides to make the move himself and ends up showing off some musical prowness. Fellow Heatmisers Elliott Smith and Sam Coomes (Quasi) both lend a hand in the making of the brilliant No Memory. The magical sounds No. 2 attains sound vaguely like a Simon and Garfunkel had they had a little more dirt in the mix. The album itself is pretty simple at first listen but as you look in all the corners things start jumping out at you that you somehow missed the last time. Don't miss out.
