RecommendAll of you U.K. readers out there are probably wondering why I would waste space in my non-mainstream mag with Ocean Colour Scene (knocked Oasis out of the top spot with their last release. Well, the sad fact is that they just haven't hit very hard here in Canada. Sure they sell a bit here and there but sadly enough they aren't big. Ocean Colour Scene is a Brit band that puts out intelligent pop. Oneof their biggest supporters is Paul Weller (providing back up vocals on No One At All) not to mention Oasis. They manage to mix catchy pop hooks with a dose of psychedelia. Each album they release they get that much tighter and more focused. This being their third proper album in North America let's just hope it's not the last one we see here.
