RecommendBrendan Perry, one have of the now defunct Dead Can Dance, makes his first outing since DCD closed it's doors. A little different in style with him singing it feels a little more rootsy than his previous band. Eye of the Hunter has a gothic feel but mixed with a more rootsy type of sound. It is quite similar to Mark Eitzel's (American Music club) latest material. Dark and yet you can still see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't know why we never heard Brendan singing in Dead Can Dance as he has an amazing voice. Of course any DCD fan will know how great a songwriter he is. Eye of the Storm is no exception to the rule.
