RecommendThe pop / punk group from Portland OR is where it's at. This little unsuspecting trio has all the hooks it takes to get the listener pulled into every note and vocal. This only the bands second album and already they show a mature set of songwriting skills. If you listen to "Evil Mirror" and you don't appreciate the Pixies style guitar and bass attack that Joe Davis and Caleb Gates provide then there is indeed a problem. The drums you hear on Viewmaster are provided by Robler Kind but recently he was replaced by Marnie Martin. The band has great dynamics which many bands today just can't quite seem to master. Viewmaster provides relief from a somewhat dreary pop landscape we have been seeing of late. I look forward to seeing where this band is headed.
