Prolapse - Ghosts of Dead Aeroplanes
Ghosts of Dead Aeroplanes is Prolapse's 3rd album for Jetset and their most eclectic offering. If you have never heard Prolapse, like me, you are in for quite a ride. Their music is very experimental and yet it is so dark. They have two vocalists, Linda Steelyard and Mick Derrick, who trade off the vocal duties. Linda has a ghostly quality about her voice while Mick's narations are just sinister and creepy. The album title couldn't be more apropriate as the music conjures visions of etheral beings. The music is very beautiful and holds your attention even with it's spooky feelings. It takes beat poetry to the next level.
