That grumbling bass. Next the guitar come sliding in. Then the stop: bam! The song detonates in an explosion of percussive thrashing and power chords. This was the Skids as good as they ever got. It made the charts in the UK. However, once Stuart Adamson left, the band folded and Adamson went onto much greater things with Big Country. Still, this is a good knockabout track. The B-Side is rather silly though comprising a live chanting of the names of various soap opera characters. There was so much more scope for a decent B-Side which would have raised this albums rating considerably higher.
