Not so much punk as an up tempo rocker, Stiff Little Fingers' style had matured sufficiently from the frenetic punk days of the late seventies and was now capable of including guitar solos in their tracks. However, the vocals had not altered much, and the tendency for the track to dissolve into shouting was evident here. At times this works superbly as the vocal comes across as being the one step away from being abusive which is what the track is all about. It remains a good little number though, in the grand scheme of things, hardly one to write home about.
