Kevin Salem is one of those behind the music characters. His last release, Glimmer, was brought onto an unsuspecting audience for those people that were used to Kevin’s production.on other albums. He has recently produced Chocolate Genius’ “Godmusic, Giant Sand’s “Chore of Enchantment, and Madder Rose’s “Bring it down. On Ecstatic Kevin has taken his time, as a matter of fact he took over 5 years to pull together this album. He, much like many other musicians today, was unsure of what the music industry had in store but got tired of caring and did what he wanted to. The music has a bit of a roots feel but more of a singer / songwriter flavor to it. His vocals really remind me of Cracker but the songs are a bit more complex. One song called “End of the addiction he wrote with Marianne Faithfull in mind to cover it. We’ll see if she takes him up on that. Kevin provides a fantastic addition to his own catalogue and another great album to the Future Farmer roster.
