RecommendThis breathtaking collection (one in many in the series) offers an incredible compilation of rare remasterings that represent an important historical document of East African music. Through 25 individual songs representing at least as many African areas, you travel an aurally rich world of indigenous music that we often fear has already been lost. While the 78s from which the remasterings were made definitely aged, the importance of the music should be as vital as the day it was performed. This collection allows you to travel to the time and place and anyone who truly loves music will want to take time out to enjoy.
