This album is the result of two like minded artists that share mutual respect for each other who wanted to work together. You will probably recognize (or not) the name Danny Barnes from the alt-bluegrass outfit, Bad Livers. Danny is the frontman of this cutting edge country band on Sugar Hill. Pete Krebs on the other hand is a little more obscure. He used to be in the bands Hazel and Golden Delicious and is quite a diverse singer / songwriter. The combination of the two musicians makes for quite a treat to the ears. From the essential banjo pickin' to organ playing to cool guitar picking; mysteriously enough there seems to be no clarinet. Go figure. Anyway, this is a great album for both of the artists and a welcome addition to Danny Barnes growing catalog.
