Status Quo may have abandoned their trusty old riff for this one, but they didn't abandon the style which won them adulation and loyalty from their fans and therefore came up with another riff, slightly different from the usual one. The result is still unmistakeably Status Quo in that the song drives through with a power which typified the band's output. Quo heads were a breed apart, simple yet kindly souls. I was not one, but this was a great way to shake your head. Trouble is, as with so much of Quo, you grow out of it. At least I did.
