Blue Mountain have been doing the roots rock thing now for seven years and they have many good years left in them. Many bands sort of hopped on the No Depression wagon once Uncle Tupelo and Jayhawks got the ball rolling but rest assured the folks in Blue Mountain were already knee deep in the manure. This album rocks pretty hard in places but still keeps true to form. They put their heart and soul into what they do and it really shows. Blue Mountain show what family values are in a band situation. They enjoy everyones company and never any hard feelings. I'm sure the husband wife team of Cary Hudson and Laurie Stirratt wouldn't have it any other way. If you need to reaffirm your faith in music Blue Mountain just might be able to help you out.
