This was the first album I heard from these guys. A lucky strike you might call it. I bought it on pure instinct. Needed something for my travel to work and took a shot with this one.
In your face kick ass rock. Thats how I?d describe it in as few words as possible. I love the classic american rock but have a hard time adapting to the new rock that?s been coming around. These guys get me. They?re doing it old school but somehow manage to sound like the new school collage rock bands. Unpolished, but beautiful.
I have no idea if they have ever release a single from this album, but If, my guess would be that the second track, "Sleep", would have been it. It?s rock hit. Similar to the Foo Fighters "Monkey Wrench" but maybe a bit softer. More personal? I dont know. It?s got that something...
